Simply Self-connected

What an evergreen in my pile of insights: just doing what feels good to me!! - and then not being able to for reasons like the generally subtle & fine character of intuition and/or the loud voice within me that corrects the sense of discomfort and unease straight away.

In my experience though the truth always returns. No matter how much I’ve thought and tried to do it otherwise, there are some simple truths out there, which if we managed to consistently abide, would make our lives way easier & way more our own.

Each new moon I’m setting a few new intentions, or revise the old ones, and being with what feels good & trusting my intuition have been oldies in this repertoire.

As with every intention, there is a reason why it hasn’t turned into a lived experience yet. For me quite often I don’t follow the clear inner messages because it might mean to upset someone else. It might mean to upset someone else without being able to justify myself in a normatively understood manner. And that’s part of the entire problem: that I’m able (and I would argue many are) to deny my own reality that is my own intuition & emotional response because I’ve been conditioned to not take myself as serious as I take others (i.e. the caretakers, authorities of my childhood).

Being able to hear, listen, & trust my own sense of wellbeing in any given situation, relationship or decision-making process, also goes against the norm in another way: it often means to take my own time & space before I assess & follow through what comes up within me. As much as it needs the understanding that I am my own personal authority that can judge & take or leave what feels best for me.

Nonetheless, it’s not far off. If there is a sense or recurring intention inside of you, know that this is your psyche asking you to look at it more deeply so you’re able to understand what is (subconsciously) guiding you. And trust that this is the crucial step towards releasing what is blocking you from being your truest Self.
